Karen Dilworth is proud to be of service to the local community, particularly as a volunteer for the local Salvation Army, an organization that has been a source of help and hope to people across the country for more than 100 years. As a Salvation Army volunteer Karen Dilworth is proud to be a part of an organization that provides much needed on-the-ground support to people in a variety of meaningful ways, including in the field of Adult Rehabilitation.
The Harbor Lights and Adult Rehabilitation Centers programs offered through the Salvation Army, as Karen Dilworth knows, provide such services as group and individual therapy, residential housing and work opportunities to those who may have lost the ability to provide for themselves. Program participants are given the support and assistance they need to prepare for re-entry into society, and to work towards once again achieving gainful employment and self-sustainment.
As someone who enjoys any opportunity to help others, Dilworth is rewarded by the chance to be a part of what the Salvation Army is; to make an impact for an organization that has proven to be such a compassionate and powerful source of support and hope for some many people over so many years. She understands the positive impact the Salvation Army has had on people, families and communities throughout the United States for such a long time, and is committed to doing her part to see the organization succeed well into the future.
Dilworth also donates her time to such programs as the Howell Alano Club and the Key Development Mentoring Program for Addicts.
