Karen Dilworth enjoys being a part of the Livonia community, as well as to be a positive influence and source of support in the loves of the people she shares it with. As one who is actively involved in multiple local organizations, Dilworth is ever-striving to make a difference in people’s lives, and to be a helping hand, as well as an attentive ear, to anyone in need.
Karen Dilworth maintains involvement in such organizations as the Key Development Mentoring Program for Addicts and the local Women’s Recovery Group and Long-Term Recovery Group; two local institutions that provide recovering substance addicts the support and care they need to overcome such a difficult, life-altering affliction. She is also the Treasure at the Howell Alano Group, an affiliate of Alcoholics Anonymous that seeks to show recovering addicts that they are, in fact, not alone when it comes to coping and overcoming such a difficult disease.
Karen Dilworth actively sponsors individuals that are doing their best to remain clean and sober; an effort to ensure each person has the show of support they need to make it through the recovery process. She is also an active volunteer for the local Salvation Army, supporting an organization that continues to be a powerful source of support to in-need people throughout the community and the country.
